Our memories are recorded and stored as we age and with time, they have more and more influence. Our Time Line is the memory coding of the brain. It is how people encode and store their memories. Otherwise, how would you know the difference between a past memory and a future dream?
The Time Line is a key element to an understanding of personality. Our memories, our decisions, our experiences good and bad are collected here over time and determine how we relate to the world. How we store memories affects how we experience our lives and how we experience time. When we think of the past, now and future in our mind, we can actually connect the three with an imaginary line.
Time Line Therapy® is a technique created by Tad James, based on the principles of NLP, for releasing negative emotions and revising limiting decisions. Time Line Therapy® was invented 30 years ago and it is one of the quickest ways (if not the quickest) to release negative emotions such as anger, sadness, fear, hurt and guilt.

Time Line Therapy™ is not Recovered Memory Therapy as such. The goal is not to recover memories, nor analyze the content of any past event. Its goal is to release any negative emotions attached to past memories while preserving the learning of these memories.
